CCM Philharmonia presents Power Dressing
The CCM Philharmonia performs works about women scorned, forgotten and a new work by a woman on the rise — the US premiere of Power Dressing by Aya Yoshida, winner of the 2019 Alexander Zemlinsky Prize for Composition. Also featuring the rarely heard suite from Richard Strauss’s masterwork, Die Frau ohne Schatten (“The woman without a shadow”).
